  • As you board the domestic flight to Lukla, the views are truly breathtaking. The flight time is approximately 35 minutes. As you land at the Lukla airport, you can get some resting time and a morning breakfast. After you are completely charged up, we will slowly start to walk by the markets and stores in Lukla and head downhill for a while with short ups and gradually winding trails passing through villages. The overnight halt is in Phakding adjacent to the Dudh Koshi River, where you'll find Buddhist prayer structures.

  • The third day starts with a quick, brief morning trek that largely follows the Dudh Koshi River. The Suspension Bridge will take you across the Dudh Koshi River to Monjo Village. Right up to Namche, this is the only village for the next two to three hours. After finally reaching Namche Bazar, the sherpa capital of the Khumbu region, you will relax and recharge in the nearby bars or cafes.

  • A day of rest is necessary for every trekker at  altitude and acute mountain sickness (AMS) can be a significant issue if acclimatisation isn't planned for in the trekking itinerary. Such adventures require extra caution, like drinking plenty of water and avoiding drinking alcohol entirely as it will dehydrate you. There is the opportunity to visit Hotel Everest View (the highest altitude 5* hotel in the world) on this rest day.

  • When you wake up in Namche Bazar, you quickly ascend beyond Namche and trek for half a day beside a stunning vista of the Himalayas. When you descend to Phungi-tenga for lunch, you are met by a vast landscape of alpine woodland and the ImjaTse river. We will travel for a few hours uphill through woodland with the stunning views of the various peaks.

  • The morning will again take us to descend through a magnificent forest and a bridge over the ImjaTse River. To reach Pangboche village, the last permanent settlement along the EBC route, as we refuel, we progressively move upward through the huge landscapes and rivers until we arrive at our overnight location at Dingboche.

  • Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatisation and an excursion. In addition to getting some rest, you'll also get to take advantage of the natural beauty in Dingboche.

  • As soon as we wake up in the morning, we begin our stroll adjacent to the prayer flags and Gumbas. As we move forward from here, we'll direct you to a little restaurant in Thukla for lunch. After refuelling with some delicious local foods, we climb for an hour to reach the summit of Thulga Pass' cairn.

  • We proceed through a rocky ridge and ice right below the Khumbu Glacier, next to Mt Pumori, Nuptse, and Everest. We will hike for two to three hours and arrive at Mount Everest Base Camp, the highlight of this trip. We return to Gorak Shep to spend the night.

  • Kalapathhar, the highest point of this journey at 5545 meters, offers a breathtaking view of Mount Pumori, the rocky summits of Kalapathhar, and of course Everest. We will hike downhill from Pheriche to Somare and Pangboche village, where we will spend the night.

  • As you descend, the sound of the gushing Dudh Koshi River accompanies you. You'll experience a rush of excitement as you traverse the challenging river crossings on suspension bridges.
